Privacy Policy
Effective October 18, 2026
Omniloop is a dating and connection service for adults, operated by Loopware Solutions ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who can see it, and the choices you have. Some of what you share on Omniloop is sensitive (your sexual orientation, relationship structure, and sexual interests, for example), and we treat it that way.
The short version: we use your information to run Omniloop. We don't sell it, we don't show ads, and we don't use third-party analytics or ad trackers. Other members never see your exact location. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
1. Information you give us
- Account information: email address, password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), display name, and date of birth.
- Profile information: gender, pronouns, sexual orientation, bio, relationship style, what you're looking for (including romantic, sexual, and social intentions), who you want to see, lifestyle details, interests, kink interests and roles, and boundaries. Everything beyond the basics needed to set up your profile is optional.
- Photos you upload, along with the visibility you choose for each one.
- Location: either your device's GPS location (only if you allow it) or a location you enter manually.
- Activity: likes, passes, matches, messages, blocks, and reports.
- Relationship profiles: if you create a shared profile with partners, its details and its membership. If you invite someone by email, we use their email address to send that invitation.
- Hookup Map: if you choose to go on the map, the time you joined, how long you chose to stay, and (if you allow it) your device's location at that moment. We use that location only to place your approximate pin. It isn't saved to your profile, and we keep only the approximate area, not your exact coordinates.
- Messages to us, such as support requests.
2. Information collected automatically
- Usage information: when you were last active, which we use to keep inactive profiles out of Discover, plus records of certain actions (for example, how many likes or messages you've sent recently) so we can limit spam and abuse.
- Technical information: our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically log things like IP address, browser type, and request times to deliver and secure the service.
- Cookies and local storage: we use cookies only to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to remember display preferences such as light or dark mode. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Map tiles: when you view the Hookup Map, your browser loads map images directly from our map tile provider, which receives your IP address and the map area being displayed.
3. How we use your information
- To create and run your account and profile.
- To suggest compatible people in Discover and on the Hookup Map, based on your preferences, location, and profile, and to explain why someone was suggested.
- To deliver messages and notifications, including emails you opt in to.
- To keep Omniloop safe: enforcing our Terms, reviewing reports, removing content, preventing spam and fraud, and limiting abuse.
- To respond to you, and to fix, secure, and improve the service.
- To comply with the law and respond to valid legal requests.
4. Sensitive information
Information about your sexual orientation, sex life, gender identity, and relationship structure is sensitive. You choose whether to add it, and by adding it you consent to us using it to show your profile and find matches. We use it only for those purposes and to keep the service safe, never for advertising. Your precise location is also sensitive, and is handled as described in the next section. You can edit or remove optional details at any time from your profile.
5. What other members can see
- Other members see your profile based on the visibility you choose. Some sections and photos can be limited to people you've matched with, or kept private.
- Other members see your approximate area and a distance rounded to the nearest mile. Your exact coordinates are never shown to or shared with other members.
- On the Hookup Map, other members on the map see a pin placed several hundred meters from your real location. It stays fixed for your session, so it can't be used to track your movements, and you're removed automatically when your chosen time ends. You can only see the map while you're on it yourself.
- Your messages are visible to the people in that conversation. For a relationship profile, that includes every current member of the relationship.
- People you've blocked, and people who've blocked you, can't find or contact you. A block covers any relationship profile the blocked person belongs to.
6. How we share information
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers that run parts of Omniloop for us under contracts limiting how they can use it: database, authentication, and file storage (Supabase), website hosting (Vercel), email delivery (Resend), and map tiles (OpenFreeMap).
- For safety and legal reasons: when we believe in good faith that it's needed to comply with the law or valid legal process, to protect someone from harm, or to investigate fraud or abuse of the service.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
- With your direction, for example when you message someone or invite a partner.
7. How long we keep information
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account from Settings at any time. When you do, we delete your account, profile, photos, location, likes, matches, and the messages you sent. If you're the last member of a relationship profile, that profile is deleted too; otherwise you're removed from it. We may keep limited records after deletion where we need them for safety, to prevent someone who was banned from returning, to resolve disputes, or to meet legal obligations. Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups for a short period before those backups expire.
8. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction: you can view and edit most of your information in your profile and Settings.
- Deletion: delete your account from Settings, or ask us to.
- Email: notification emails are off unless you turn them on, and every one includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Location: you can turn off location access for Omniloop in your browser or device settings and enter a location manually instead.
- Your state's privacy rights: depending on where you live, including California, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct or delete it, and to limit how we use sensitive information. We don't sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and we use sensitive information only to provide the service. To make a request, email support@omniloop.xyz. We'll verify the request comes from you, and you can use an authorized agent. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision.
9. Security
We protect your information with access controls enforced in our database, encrypted connections, and private photo storage that's only reachable through short-lived links. No service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us right away at support@omniloop.xyz if you think your account has been compromised.
10. Adults only, US only
Omniloop is only for people 18 and older who live in the United States. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we'll delete it. If you believe a minor is using Omniloop, please report it or email support@omniloop.xyz.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
